How Jumo works

• The home router stays at home, plugged into your internet box (or connected to its Wi-Fi). It does not change anything for the other devices at home.
• The travel router goes with you. Plug it into the hotel or office network, or connect it to Wi-Fi or your phone's hotspot.
• Connect your laptop to the travel router, by cable or Wi-Fi. It is now on your home network, as if you were at home.

The two routers find each other on their own. Most of the time nothing needs to be configured on your internet box. If the Jumo team tells you automatic setup failed for your box, follow Opening your ISP box.

Resetting a router

A factory reset is safe: the router comes back, reconnects and gets its pairing back by itself within a few minutes.
